will always afford each customer a warm welcome and are more than happy to give advice or make a recommendation.
Bruce Edge
The third generation of the Edge family to run the business, Bruce began his career working in the shop in 1993 and for two years had the privilege of working alongside not only his father but also his grandfather.
Bruce took over the running of the business in 2005 following his father's retirement.
Married to Jessica, Bruce spends his time when he is not in the shop with Jessica and their two sons. He is also very keen of the great outdoors, either walking in the mountains of North Wales or across the Cheshire Plain.
Bruce is keen on his country pursuits, and to ensure a balance in the shop between the big two Red teams, supports a third, in the mighty Wrexham F.C.!
Phillip Rowland
Phillip has worked with all three generations of the Edge family and as such is very much part of the family.
With over 40 years behind the counter he has also become one of Handbridge's best known characters.
A keen gardener, Phillip's only vice is his dubious love of Manchester United!
Paul Bowley
Paul has been with Ernest W Edge & Son for over 5 years and brings with him 24 years of experience and an expertise in game preparation.
A keen country sportsman and die hard Liverpool fan he has finally become a season ticket holder after 15 years waiting.
Steven Kennedy
Steve is our latest recruit and was new to butchery when he joined us in March 2014.
He is very passionate about food and very interested in product development.
He is a proud Scot and big Aberdeen fan. In his spare time he enjoys playing golf.
