Ernest W Edge & Son is one of Chester's leading butchers whose expertise in butchery, extensive range of raw and cooked meats, together with other carefully sourced produce, has won critical acclaim and a loyal following that extends far beyond the immediate Chester area.
Bruce Edge, the third generation of the Edge family to run the business and his highly trained and skilled team of staff still operate from the original premises in Handbridge, Chester which Bruce’s grandfather opened in 1937.
Not that there is anything old fashioned in the Ernest W Edge & Son of today. It's impressive purpose built 30ft chilled glass counter, stretching the width of the shop is carefully stocked daily with the freshest cuts of meat and other produce.
Competitively priced, all meats are sourced as locally as possible and carry the Ernest W Edge guarantee of provenance.
We accept debit card payments and as a service to our customers we offer a free cash back facility on all orders over £5.
